Selling myself to the internet with a witty blurb feels like I’m trying to put my best face forward for a dating profile. Am I the only one who feels that way? Anybody? Hello?
What you really need to know about me is that I love storytelling. The first story I ever wrote was when I was seven years old. It was a tale of horror and woe. A nine foot tall stick of celery followed me home and tried to eat me. I hated celery. (Still do.)
That love of storytelling led me to a filmmaking degree with an emphasis on screenwriting. And I have been GM-ing tabletop RPGs for over 20 years.
When the pandemic forced us to quarantine, I took advantage of all the extra time I had and put it toward writing novels. Over the course of 16 months, I wrote three books in my fantasy epic. I'm working on breaking those up and creating a six books series. I wrote By Her Grace: A Dell Chronicles Novella as a prequel to those books.
Currently, I’m working in Central Oregon and learning the book publishing biz. I also do beta reading, critiquing, and some developmental editing.
